Sweaters in the 60s and 70s had very divergent styles. On one end there were the thicker knit, ethnic-inspired cardigans and sweater vests perfect for warm weather. Then there were the light-weight, gypsy-inspired sweaters that just accented an outfit and were worn in warm weather. Somewhere in-between were very unique, novelty sweaters with anything from cartoon characters to animal prints to bright color blocks.
