Pajamas, nightgowns, and lingerie were more fashionably adventurous then, using lots of bright colors, and unique necklines and cuts. Creative embellishments such as Mexican-inspired embroidery and crochet were also popular. Although it was more common in the 60s, women used to wear long, kitschy dressing gowns over their pajamas, while they were getting ready for bed. It's a bygone practice that's being revived today, and it's a great excuse to pick up a gorgeous vintage dressing gown! |
